This is good!

This is good! The only thing that is keeping it from getting a 10 is the excessive reverb. Try toning it down a little? Good job on this! I enjoyed it! -XayberOptix

Aww, damn.^^
Excessive? I should have a look into that, I guess. :O

Thx!

Very nice vocal technique!

I really like how you phrased your vocals. Surprisingly, you made the lyrics, despite their simplicity, come to life!! What I'm trying to say is that you have great melodic technique in the way you express your notes in and between every syllable of each and every word. Wow! Just beautiful! 5/10!

Hey thanks Xay. I was in music theater for a while....not to mention drama and chorus in high school. I sort of just learned how to express emotion while singing. I'm glad it's effective in delivering the point of a song without me really needing a lot of lyrics to do so. :) Thanks again buddy.

This puts me inside an RPG game!!

This tune is so captivating that it puts me inside an RPG game!! I can imagine the scenery... I am roaming the country side where meadows of tall green grass and flowers sway back and forth. I am heading towards a small village in the far distance. The sky is just minutes from sunset. As I approach, I can see a peaceful village where children are dancing, running, jumping and playing outside with the butterflies. I see farmers working on their garden and the blacksmith forging a sword with ember flying all around. As I enter the village, I am greeted by a lovely maiden dressed in a beautifully designed blue and white dress. She welcomes me to the village and shows me around. This is where I would be granted a quest--probably from the inn keeper or an old man sitting out in the cemetary by the grave of his wife. :) Anyway, I won't spoil you too much. Excellent vocals! Love them! Keep it up!! You got my 5/10!

Hmm. That's some nice imagery...I'm starting to picture it too. :) Thank you! And wow! Woohoo! Another 5/10! :D

Total Inspiration!!

I must say, your tracks have always inspired me! The sounds you use are so powerful! And your final mix is always so crisp and professional. I would love to collaborate with you on some tunes someday! By the way, I have used Reason 2.5/3.0 for about 4 years until I switched over to Acid Pro 7.0. Anyway, congratulations on having a great following here on Newgrounds! Keep up the great work!

Well written!

The "content" of this piece is quite incredible! I can imagine how awesome this would sound if it would be played by a real symphony orchestra such as the London Symphony Orchestra! I'm very inspired by this soundtrack! Keep it up!!

P.S. The only reason why it's a 9 as opposed to 10 is because it sounded very "General MIDI-like." :P

very relaxing to listen to!

This tune sounds very "dream like," It takes me back to happy moments in my life. This is a great conceptual piece. I think the only thing I'd adjust in this tune is the reverb by diffusing it a little more; and also widen up the stereo field. Keep up the great work!

I'm liking this! Great mix!

This is really good! I am diggin' it! What did you you use in making this tune? Keep up the great compositions! I look forward to more!

Nice Guitars!

I think the guitar playing is pretty cool! It's very precise! If the mix was better, it would be a 10! Great content! Keep it up!!

Throughdarkness responds:

Thanks for the encouragement! If you dont mind me asking, what is it exactly about the mix that is not good? I have a really hard time getting sound right as I do not have any equipment for mixing and I would really just like an idea as to what needs tweaking. Thanks for the rating to bro!

hey this has a really nice sound!

You've done a great job at making this sound intriguing! You don't mind if I add a few touches of my own to it, do you? I'll post up my collaboration soon. BTW, congratulations on your acceptance to Berklee College of Music! *high five*

Gian responds:

Sure man, thanks for the review. And about Berklee, I still can't believe it! Tell me when the collab is done. Peace.

Thank you for listening to my music! I'm always glad to share them with you!
