Still has much room for improvement

At some parts, I feel like the notes are clashing into (or brushing up against) each other creating a tonal harmonic imbalance. Try positioning the notes so that they complement each other as in the same chord scale instead of causing them to destroy or overrun one another. If you do that, it will make them sound "together" instead of "all scattered."

DeanCutty responds:

Thanks for telling me your thoughts. When I wrote this track, I thought some clashing notes would make the atmosphere better. I agree that the melodies could be a little tighter instead of "All Scattered".

Thank you!

Great for a fight scene!

This sounds like something that I could imagine hearing in an arcade game like a head to head fighting game of some sort. It could use some more varieties of sounds perhaps some atmoshperic sounds? Well, good piece either way! Keep up the great work!

BooBlock responds:

Thanksies. :)

Cool stuff man!

I love your guitar playing talents! IT ROCKS!!! Keep it up! We'll definitely have to collaborate some time! Hit me up if you're up for it.

Casualty responds:

yeah, what you make is pretty cool, you put a lot of thought in there. the problem with me is that this song took half an hour to make, because i just improvise riffs and when i have three or four, the song is done, haha.

thanks for the review!

Incredible!

Aside from having a real symphony orchestra playing this piece, I don't think it can get anymore real than what it already is! You have a great edge for orchestral music and audio mixing! Incredible skills!! You have my attention! :) It would be a great honor if you would listen to some of my recent compositions and offer me some pointers on improving my work. Thanks! -XayberOptix 5/5 10/10

Emotional

I can tell that you put a lot of feeling into playing this piece. Very well done my friend!

MarkySpark responds:

Thanks for listening.

Suspenseful!

This tune is with endless suspense! You have me clinging on to the edge of my chair! What a beautiful piece! I know that the poem by Edgar Allen Poe is obviously not yours but I must ask, is this an original soundtrack? It really adds a great deal of depth to the poem without a doubt! It's insanely mystical!! I'm jealous! :P

SolusLunes responds:

Indeed the track is 100% a Solus original.

The poem of course is not, and you knew that. :D

I thought of the poem after listening to this song for a while, grasping for a name.

Refreshing!

This is truly refreshing! It invites me into another world! You've done a really great job at expressing your true honor for this game. Keep it up!

SolusLunes responds:

I'm glad you liked it! :D

Heroic!

Nice job on this buddy! Very well done! It could use audio mastering though. Send me the original wav and I'll demonstrate to you what I mean. ;)

Thanx! :D

Great production!

This song was very well produced. I really enjoyed it! If it was mastered (i.e., optimized for best possible audio output), it would be a perfect 10! Great job!

Step responds:

Really glad you like this song! It's actually the first song I ever made with East/West. It's actually really amazing how just high-quality sounds will improve your work - when I was using soundfonts, my songs were horrible, but once I got East/West, my general song quality made a massive leap. Really glad I bought EWQLSO, I haven't stopped using it!

Also, I've heard your most recent track - it's absolutely superb, congrats on that. I might leave a review when I get the time, although I'm on a very busy schedule, I'm afraid...

Thanks a lot for the review anyway!

Thank you for listening to my music! I'm always glad to share them with you!
