hjhkbn responds:

Why thank you good sir. Your most recent upload deserved that 5. :)

Nice!

The glitching is awesome. Nice job on this!

dj-Nate responds:

Thank ya!

Lots of imagination!

The harp gives the begnining a feel of wind breezing through. The bagpipes at 0:28 add an authentic taste of Irish in there. The whole composition is very thought provoking! I can almost see the journey that's taking place! Excellent use of a variety of instruments!

Jessismith responds:

Thanks Xay. I'm glad you could see the whole story I was going for. :)

I'm loving the feel...

... of this piece! It brings me right to the time and place of a real western era! Great interpretation! Keep up the excellent work!

Jessismith responds:

Yay! Glad to hear that someone else thinks so! Thankies Xay. :D

Never heard so many...

... swear words all in one song! I couldn't help but to "pump" it up some more! :) I sent you the URL in your inbox. Feel free to share it with everyone else here at NG! KEEP UP THE GREAT JOB!!

True inspiration at work here!

It's amazing what a bit of inspiration can do as it is apparent in this piece! ;) You're definitely heading in the right direction now. I'm grateful to be honored as a contributor to your work. Great job on this and may you continue keeping the dream alive! -XayberOptix

Shiverwar responds:

I just used your horn arrangement, lol. I may have modified it somewhat, but I think it was for the best.

Thank you for your wonderful review!

Not bad at all, however...

... it is lacking a distinct melody (i.e., something that "hooks" the listener). It also seems like the middle channel is not standing out enough in the mix inspite of the stereo imaging being well placed. Let me try something and I'll send you a file. :) Anyway, keep up the great work! You're definitely going in the right direction!

Shiverwar responds:

You've got some very nice words in your review. You sure know how to lay down the constructive criticism. :D

See, that's what I like about some reviews. Nice and easy with some constructive advice. Thank you for your review, man!

Techno!

Reminds me of the early 90's Techno music! :) NICE!! I enjoyed it! A score of 9/10 because I feel it could be sonically improved; i.e., mastered for optimal output. Otherwise it would be a 10/10! ;)

Maverlyn responds:

Reposting this with your version :D

Pretty cool stuff...

This song leaves me gasping for air! :) It has good content, but it seems like it ends without a resolution. :( The quality of the sounds are OK, but can be more convincing with better sounds. Anyway, pretty cool tune! 4/5 8/10. Keep it up!

Shiverwar responds:

Hey, thanks, man! I only prepared it in a matter of minutes, because I tend to work fast, but I tried to make it as best I can. Thanks for your review!

Yeah, I wish I had the East/West Symphonic thing like some other people have, but I'm f@#%ing poor. Lol ^^"

Possessing!

Your music just possessed me! I'm now at your every command! :P That bass line is truly awesome despite that it plays the same thing over and over--it helps drive the entire piece!! The bending synths a quite amazing! There's one thing that I would probably fix though--and that's the amount of reverberation. Sounds like everything was ran through a reverb insert at the master bus. eeek! The reverb made it very "muddy" sounding. Unless that's what you were deliberately trying to accomplish, I think it would be better to turn it town.

Eirun responds:

Wow, thanks for the zeal! :D

It's a lot of different kinds of reverbs and/or echoes for each instrument. I wanted to make it feel a bit wet, vast and gloomy.

This was my first successful try at leaving the bass enhancement alone and push more into filter effects and variation. But I agree that the bassline is pumping the same thing over and over. I'll pay more attention to that in my next work. :)

Thank you for listening to my music! I'm always glad to share them with you!
